LIC Recruitment 2020 - Question Pattern for Prelims & Mains Exam
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has released LIC Assistant 2020 Recruitment Notification recently for the recruitment of Clerical Staff including Cashier, Single Window operator, Customer Service Executive etc. in different offices of LIC. LIC Assistant is a central government exam, there is huge competition for this job. So candidates must have a proper preparation plan to crack the LIC Assistant Exam and the candidates who are planning to apply for this exam, must know the LIC Assistant Syllabus, Exam Pattern and complete Selection Process.
LIC Assistant Prelims Exam Pattern:
The Written Exam will contain 3 sections namely: Reasoning, English Language / Hindi Language, Quantitative Aptitude. The total duration of the written exam will be 1 hour or 60 minutes. Preliminary Examination consisting of the objective test will be conducted online. The test will have three sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:- Reasoning Ability: 35
- Numerical Ability: 35
- English Language / Hindi Language: 30
LIC Assistant Mains Exam Pattern:
LIC Assistant Mains Exam PatternThe main examination will consist of objective tests for 200 marks. The objective test will be online. The objective test will have separate timing for every section. The Pattern for Mains Exam of LIC Assistant is two types:
North/North Central/Central/Western:
- Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude: 40
- General/ Financial Awareness: 40
- Quantitative Aptitude: 40
- Hindi Language: 40
- English Language: 40
Eastern/South Central/Southern:
- Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude: 60
- General/ Financial Awareness: 50
- Quantitative Aptitude: 50
- English Language: 40
- The candidates are required to qualify each of the Tests. Candidates will have to qualify in each of the objective tests.
- There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests for the main examination. ¼ marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase I) will not be added for the selection and the final selection will be based on the marks obtained by a candidate in Main Examination (Phase II).
